The week right before Super Bowl Sunday was the 68th annual Pro Bowl. This year the best of the NFC played the best of the AFC. This game was very close for the second half but was not as close the first half. With the first quarter the NFC scored their first touchdown on opening drive from a pass from Drew Brees to Adam Theilen. Then Chris Boswell kicked a 41 yard field goal. In the next quarter Tyreek Hill was returning a punt when he muffed the football and was recovered by Budda Baker. Later, in the quarter Graham Gano made a field goal at distance 43 yards. The NFC gained more momentum when Harrison Smith had a 79 yard interception returned for a touchdown. Finally, Graham Gano made his second field goal of the second quarter with a 40 yarder to close the half. To start the third quarter Alex Smith threw a pass to Delanie Walker. This was the first strike of momentum for the AFC since the field goal. The second strike of momentum by the AFC was when LeSean McCoy rushed for a touchdown to put the AFC to down by three points of 20-17 with the NFC still leading. The last time the NFC scored was in the fourth quarter and was a field goal by Graham Gano to score the final three points for the NFC. The last score for the game was a pass from Derek Carr to Delanie Walker. This put them in the lead with 24-23 with less than a minute left. The play that closed the game was when Jared Goff was sacked and recovered by the AFC this lead to the AFC winning 24-23.
