On December 8, 2017 in New York City was the biggest night for college football players. The night that determines who gets the Heisman Trophy for the previous season. For the nominees there was Lamar Jackson QB Louisville at number three, Bryce Love RB Stanford, and Baker Mayfield QB

Oklahoma. These three young men performed very good throughout the season.
With the total votes for the Heisman Baker Mayfield Quarterback from Oklahoma won the Trophy. Mayfield was the sixth Oklahoma to win the Heisman since the beginning of the foundation. With the most votes on who the Heisman should go to Mayfield took first in every region. In the Northeast region Jackson had 136 votes, Love had 205, and Mayfield had 379 votes destroying competition. Mayfield completely obliterated the entire region voting. While in New York the votes for first were. Baker Mayfield 732 votes, Bryce Love 75, Lamar Jackson 47, Saquon Barkley 15, and Rashaad Penny with only seven votes. So, you could say over all Baker Mayfield had no competition in this voting process.
