Christmas is an amazing holiday full of tradition, celebration, and food.  We all have our traditional recipes and this is one I would like to share.

INGREDIENTS
• one bag of powdered sugar
• 1 cup of sugar
• 4oz of cream cheese
• food coloring
• peppermint extract

OTHER ESSENTIALS
• food processor
• mint molds (optional)

STEPS
Add cream cheese and 4 cups of powdered sugar to food processor Mix until mixture is creamy but stiff and add food coloring \

Add 1/4 teaspoon of peppermint extract or desired amount

Knead 1/2 cup of powdered sugar into mixture

Put 1/2 a cup of sugar into bowl and take about 1/2 a teaspoon of mint dough and roll in sugar

Flatten each ball with a fork (If you have mint molds, press into mint mold and birth out)

Let mints sit for two hours or until dry.
