The NFL trade deadline ended Tuesday October 31st, 2017 with old
players on new teams. This could either help the team that got the new
player or hurting the team that traded away the player. Either way both
teams in every trade got something that can possibly help them either this
or next season.
One of the first trades was the Texans traded Left Tackle and got a third-
round pick in the 2018 draft and a second-round pick in the 2019 draft
this. All season the Seahawks have opened tryouts but never found a good
replacement until now. The second trade leads San Francisco fans to hope.
The Patriots traded backup quarterback Jimmy Garppolo to the 49ers for
a second-round draft pick in the 2018 draft. This hopefully with turn their
luck around. The next trade involves Dolphins star running back Jay Ajayi
he will go to the Eagles for a fourth-round pick. This trade was tough for
the Dolphins to give Ajayi away, but he hasn’t done much for them with
3.8 yards per carry. Another trade was the Panthers trading away Kelvin
Benjamin to the Bills for a third and seventh-round draft pick which is a
steal for the Bills but a major loss for the Panther losing a weapon like
that. Then, the Browns tried to get backup quarterback AJ McCarron from
the Bengals but did not turn in the paperwork in time. This was put on
here only to give you a laugh too bad the Browns will never change this is
sad but at the same time is humorous.
These are the trades that occurred over the period from this weekend to
Halloween. Hopefully this will turn these teams records around. Also that
the teams that lost players will get new talent from the draft picks that will
be used in the 2018 and the 2019 drafts.
